Gourmet Ice Cream
This engaging logo was created
whilst working at a Brisbane advertising agency. Gourmet Orchard manufactures
high quality frozen
fruits and berry purees. This project included name and slogan
generation along with a matching stationery set. A gouache illustration
with KPT gel effects, the logo met the budget requirements and earned
lots of client brownie points!

The client in this instance
wished to show his Gelati as real Italian style Gelati...so we made a
real map of Italy out of Gelati arranging the flavours as an
strips of leather pieces in a
boot. Coupled with a blend of modern and traditional type faces
the logo achieved a classic, realistic feel and our client was
delighted!

A premium range of yoghurts
required a new logo to stand above the crowd, flexible for signage (below) and
packaging. The logo
hand rendered and finished with
KPT gel in Photoshop transferred well
from its' thumbnail design
(below). The image presents
a never ending figure 8, the
great circle of life
and a bouquet of fruit which
gently melts into yoghurt. The typography illustrated as if written in yoghurt,
is inviting and rich, and hopefully entices closer inspection.

A close up of the thumbnail sheet
for the Yoghurt Life logo above. This typical sheet shows the essential
icon itself and how it is to be created, along with how the logo will
come across i.e. fresh, interesting, wholesome etc. Then of course
you have to show how the icon could be used with the name of the company and its slogan - the full logo image, and so there are variations for that too. After creating the logo, we did
the
packaging labels.

SMOOTHIE GEAR

typography & illustration, simple corporate set
This time a racy hand painted splatter
style for Smoothie Bars. The icon depicts an Smoothie Machine
engine made up of fruit, with fluid going in through the top and coming
out as an array of flavours at the bottom. You
can see from the thumbnail sheet below left that the logo turned out
as originally designed. This sheet shows 4 other variations for
text placement and has a written pointers as to how the identity would be
created. The final product label is lower left.

This time a logo revamp of their newly purchased company - Michel's Sorbets...very
fine, high quality Sorbets and Ice Creams, made specially to order in
any flavour combination imaginable! We updated Michel's old logo
(below) to a
classical elegance whilst keeping the logo familiar to its' 5 star chef
clientele.
