COROCORD THUMBNAIL IDEAS

Two more ideas were presented to the client as a part of a series for Corocord displays.  One idea appealed to girls (A), with a mountaineer rescuing a princess threatened by a dragon and (B) a Spiderman superhero zooming through a city scape at night, complete with alien space ship hovering above.  As per the nautical theme, each poster was to have matching toy s in the bottom banners and a Corocord play structure too.

See how the poster was created below.

Shown with kind permission of Nuance Studios

Stage 2:  Upon approval, make  a dramatic sky and earth scape with KPT effects.

Stage 3:  Take reference photos of a child playing  upon an existing Corocord structure, illustrate various age s in pastel, scan, position in place.  Create banners in Photoshop and add pastel toy illustrations, followed by an edited city  scape, hills and mountains.

Stage 4: Using photographed section of real rope, build structure to suit children's positions, colour them, add dimension in Photoshop. Export sections into KPT gel and paint on the clasps then reposition, paint clouds into background.

SIR EDMUND HILLARY
Folio piece, original photograph edited with KPT Goo.

This piece goes to show that you can still use photography, but with a little effort and not that much time, it can be all so much more inviting to look at.  And, if your prospective buyers look at it longer, then they are more likely to consider your product.

SPANYID SHIRT
Spanyid Lures

Printed using the latest Sublimation Printing technology, this shirt (front and back shown) was created using another illustrators fish artwork, placed above digitally created backgrounds, fishing rod and reel created in Corel Draw.  Destined for the American sports shirt market, the artwork took a while to get right because of the complexity of the design, but looked fabulous in the end.
