Another exciting adventure
with the Redcliffe Leagues Club - enjoying the usual bit of
humour. This time,
a logo for signage for their new English Pub within the club, also used
on other merchandise such as a one colour version (below) for etching onto pint glasses.

ELABANA FARM LOGO
Elabana Lavender Farm and Home Stay

New graphic
for a lovely client with big dreams. Elabana Farm based at
Stanthorpe, Queensland offers a lavender farm, natural body products, a
future cafe or classy restaurant, shop, straw bale accommodation and
weekend events for families. We designed a French
perfume style logo, quite clinical but with beautiful crisp colour and plentiful
white space.
The logo
itself is the shape of the lavender flower but because the client wished
to expand her business in so many areas, we decided to add different
coloured petals, softly vignetted from dark to light as if the fragrance
wafts outwards. Nice classic typography and lots of
space finishes the design perfectly. The client and her clientele loved it and
we all look forward to working on the Elabana farm packaging project
soon.

THE YOUNG GROUP
Michael Young & Co

corporate sets $900 - 1300
Revamp of the original logo (below) into a
4 colour identity for the face of 3 companies, encompassing the stars of the
Southern Cross, the letter Y and also, loosely, a letter G (if you realize that
the top 4 stars make the top of that letter). In all creating the
shape of the Australian continent for this very Australian
corporation.

PLATYPUS GRAPHICS
I received a brief from this well known Brisbane printing and
embellishing firm whilst working in a Brisbane agency.
The brief from
Platypus Graphics,
asked for a logo requiring hand tooled embossing, foiling and varnishing
in order to show off their expertise, whilst reflecting upon the quiet
life of the Platypus. This ambitious design wasn’t the cheapest of
logos, but answered the brief. Hand rendered typography, digitally created
platypus, water and border all richly combined…to their client’s delight.
